
Well, maybe not
downfall exactly, but definitely a test of sorts. Tonight we went out to eat at Old Country Buffet. I usually guiltily enjoy OCB -- they food is not exactly top notch, but it is good and there is a lot of it. Tonight was a little bit different though. I ate more than I have been eating, but I I tried to make my plates less crammed full of food, so that while I may have had 4 plates, one of them was a salad, one of them was only half-full with their Mongolian Stir-Fry, one was two fish filets, and one was 5 shrimp and 4 nachos. After all of that food, I really didn't need dessert, so I didn't have any.
We did watch Die Hard With A Vengeance tonight though, so I supplemented with a bag of popcorn and a box of fruties and some grapes during the movie. In all, I used up all of my points for the day, but didn't go over, so hopefully I'll still weigh in down tomorrow, but if not, I know that I'm doing a good job and I'll just have to keep it up.
One other note -- after all of that food, I made a point of checking my BG 2 hours PP, and surprisingly it was 104. I was understandably happy about that. Weight Watchers is probably the best treatment plan for diabetes that I've ever used. While there is no cure, this might
